Are you looking for volunteer opportunies?

Volunteers are essential for running a BLOCK Fest event. At a minimum we need 2-5 additional volunteers for each event. Below is a description of Block Fest as well as some volunteer opportunities.

Block Fest Description

  • Block Fest is an interactive community event consisting of educational hands on activities for children and families who will participate in block play for a one-hour cycle with a rotation of five different block play sessions.
  • A one hour event can accommodate up to 40 children with 8 per station and provides the ability for facilitators (Smart Start Staff) to interact with the children and their caregivers.
  • After the one hour cycle, there will be a short time for clean-up and another cycle will begin.
