Smart Start of Brunswick County
is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of
members from the Government, Services and Business/Community
sectors. Members include representatives of non-profit services,
schools, child care, health & social service agencies and
businesses & community at large.
The Board of Directors
works to develop:
Community partnerships
that will provide a seamless system of services
for
all young children and families.
Awareness of and involvement in
activities that support families and children
Programs and services to ensure
that every child enters school prepared for success
Access to high quality,
affordable, early childhood care and education for all children
Access to appropriate health care services
for children
On-going fiscal and programmatic accountability standards evaluation.
