Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) Project______________
This pilot
grant project
is an initiative to improve the quality of child
development services in primary care medical practices.
This initiative provides training and on-site technical
assistance to physicians and their staff to help them
integrate developmental screenings and referrals into
designated well child visits. The goal of this projects is
to increase the number of children ages birth to five that
receive high quality developmental screenings in the context
of a medical home, identify children with developmental or
behavioral concerns, and make referrals to early
intervention and other appropriate community resources.
