The Communications & Outreach Coordination
activity provides information and
education, through newsletters and reports to the community, to parents of children ages birth
to five, child care providers, business and community organizations
on services provided by Smart Start of Brunswick County
including outreach to parents and medical service providers
on the need for "well child" visits.

Program/Evaluations Management_______________________________________________
The P/E Manager assists direct service providers and subcontractors in program development, evaluation, and monitoring of programs. The manager assists in
the development of the annual plan based on community needs and resources and oversees programmatic monitoring and evaluation of approved activities. The
Manager compiles Smart Start reports and assists in coordination of community activities that promote the health, education and well being of young
children

The Angel Fund_____________________________________________________________
This program,
totally funded by private donations, supports child victims
of abuse and neglect by providing emergency funding when
other funding avenues are not available or accessible. In
addition, angel funds are used to support community based
child abuse and neglect prevention and awareness activities.
