Families with low to moderate income who do
not have health insurance may be eligible for the
state-assisted
program that provides free health
insurance to children. The plan covers doctor and hospital visits,
check-ups,
prescriptions, dental, hearing, vision, glasses
and more. It also covers children living with
grandparents, and other
family or friends. Children under 19 may qualify if the annual
gross family income is at or below the following levels:
$27,384
for a family of two
$34,344 for a family of three
$41,304
for a family of four
$48,264
for a family of five
$55,224 for a family of six
