CLASS Training $10 – CLASS is an observation instrument that assesses quality of teacher-child interactions in the classroom. CLASS includes three domains or categories of teacher-child interactions that support children’s learning and development: (NC- Pre-K) Emotional Support, Classroom Organization, and Instructional Support. In addition to this we will look at the dimensions that are within each of the domains. (Infant) the participants will look at Responsive Caregiving-Teacher Sensitivity-Facilitated Exploration-Early Language Support. In addition, we will look at the dimensions that fall under each of these domains. (Toddler) Emotional and Behavioral Support-Engaged Support for Learning-Positive Climate-Negative Climate-teacher Sensitivity-Regard for Child Perspectives Facilitation of Learning and Development Quality of Feedback. We will also look at the dimensions that fall under each of these domains.
Training will be held in-person at: Smart Start Brunswick County.
