November 15th 6:00-8:30pm Darkness to Light Training – FREE – Participants will learn to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Participants will learn statistics about child sexual abuse. Participants will learn the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) can often have lifelong physical health consequences. Being a SAFE ADULT means modeling what safe boundaries are with children. One on one situations can be very positive and healthy for children. By eliminating ISOLATED situations by adding protective factors to minimize risk of one-on-one situations would prevent most of the child sexual abuse.
Training will be held in-person at the office of Smart Start of Brunswick County.
2.5 Credit Contact hours. Deadline to register is: 11/3/2022 by; 5:00pm.
