Educator Resilience and Trauma Informed Self Care in FCCH

Participant’s will complete a self-care assessment. The participants will learn and adopt innovative practices and thoughtful solution to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. In the face of this collective trauma, teachers are standing up to the disruptions and challenges and navigating this new terrain, as they work to take care of themselves and their families and maintain connections with students and colleagues. The training will cover key strategies for fostering resilience and a self-care planning tool to assist educators in identifying areas of strength and growth related to self-care and developing self-care plans. 2 Contact Hour Credits. Register by August 23.
