September 12th 6:30-8:30pm- Transitions Training $10 – Participants will learn to create playfulness in transitions: Participants will learn that too many transitions can lead to disruptive behaviors. Participants will learn to be aware of how their student’s react to how transitions affect them. Participants will have the opportunity to create transition activities for their classrooms. 1. Allow the child to transition first-2. Add structure to transitions-3. Cut down on transitions-4. Build in quiet time to transition children from high-energy activities-5. Plan for children with specific needs. Daily Transitions with infants and Toddlers. Training will be held at Smart Start Brunswick County. 2 Credit Contact Hours.
