Gentle De-Escalation Strategies (In-Person)

September 16, 2026, 6:30-8:30pm- Gentle De-Escalation Strategies-The participants will learn techniques on gentle de-escalation strategies for children: Stay calm and ground yourself, Lower Voice & Slow Body. Acknowledge the feeling first, reduce demands during big emotions, Acknowledge the Feeling first, offer space without abandonment, use simple reassuring words, model calm coping skills, focus on safety not compliance reconnect after the storm, classroom application scenarios, building regulation-supportive classroom, common mistakes to avoid, reflection & action plan. $10-2 Credit Hours. Training will be held at 632 Village Rd STE 1, Shallotte, NC 28470. Deadline: September 10, 2026, at 5:00pm.
