March 19th 6:00-8:30pm – Heart Saver Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED $35- Participants will learn techniques of CPR/First Aid -Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival (Child-Infant)-Explain the concepts of the chain of survival-Recognize when someone needs CPR-Describe how to perform CPR with help from other bystanders-Give effective breaths by using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups-Use a AED on an Child and Infant-Help a choking child-infant-Describe how to help someone with drug overdose emergencies-Universal Precautions-Removing Gloves-Heart Attack, Stroke, difficulty breathing and common injuries and common illnesses-Use epinephrine pen-Control Bleeding.
Please be aware of the SSBC policy regarding training credits. If you have signed up for a training session but cannot attend, it is essential to contact the SSBC training staff by noon on the day of the session to receive credit for future training. Please note that we do not issue refunds; instead, we provide credits that can be used for upcoming training sessions. SSBC appreciates your understanding!
Please keep in mind that to maintain low costs, there may be a delay in the issuance of CPR ecards by SSBC. We recommend planning ahead based on your CPR expiration date to ensure you have everything you need in time.
