
June 17th 6:00-8:30 p.m. – Heart Saver Pediatric CPR/First Aid/ AED – $35 Participants will learn essential techniques in CPR and First Aid, including: – Understanding how high-quality CPR improves survival rates for children and infants – Explaining the concepts of the chain of survival – Recognizing when someone needs CPR – Demonstrating how to perform CPR with the assistance of bystanders – Administering effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth. – Using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on children and infants – Assisting a choking child/infant – Understanding universal precautions and the proper method for removing gloves – Identifying and responding to emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, difficulty breathing, common injuries, and illnesses – Using an epinephrine pen when necessary – Controlling bleeding effectively. This training will equip participants with the necessary skills to respond confidently in emergency situations. The training will be held in-person at: SSBC. 632 Village STE 1, Shallotte NC, 28470.
