January 29th 6:00-8:30pm- Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED $35 Participants will learn techniques of CPR/First Aid -Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival (Child-Infant)-Explain the concepts of the chain of survival-Recognize when someone needs CPR-Describe how to perform CPR with help from other bystanders-Give effective breaths by using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups-Use a AED on an Child and Infant-Help a choking adult-child-infant-Describe how to help someone with drug overdose emergencies-Universal Precautions-Removing Gloves-Heart Attack, Stroke, difficulty breathing and common injuries and common illnesses-Use epinephrine pen-Control Bleeding.
Training will be held: At the office of Smart Start Brunswick County. 5140 Sellers Rd Shallotte NC, 28470.
