August 26, 2025, 6:30-8:30pm Preschool Literacy $10-Learn Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities focused on preschool literacy. They will learn developmentally appropriate methods to incorporate literacy concepts into their teaching. Participants will utilize teaching tools designed for young children, along with a routine-based support guide. Additionally, they will work with toolbox tip cards. All activities will align with the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development Standards (NC FELDS) and the SCALES assessment. Each activity will correspond to the foundational elements and the appropriate item numbers from ERS. 2 Contact hours.
The training will be held in-person at: SSBC: 632 Village rd. STE 1, Shallotte NC, 28470. The deadline for registering is: 08/22/2025 by: 5:00pm.
