June 7th 6:30-8:30pm – Summer Activities Training – $10 The participants will learn how children learn through outside play. How can we take inside materials outside to play. The materials from all centers can be taken outside to extend the children’s learning. They will learn what “weather permitting” means. They will learn how all this ties into NCFELDS & SCALES they will create their own activities to take back to use in their classrooms. The activities will include ways to use with children with all abilities. Areas of focus: Personal Development-Social skills-Creative skills. All activities will align with foundations and items numbers with scales. Training will be held at Smart Start Brunswick County. 2 Credit Contact Hours. Deadline to register is 06/06/2023 by 5:00pm.
