Autumn Activities

October 28, 2026, 6:30-8:30pm-Autumn Activities–Participants will engage in hands-on activities focused on seasonal explorations and their application across classroom centers. They will learn how these activities align with the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development Standards (NC FELDS) and the Supporting Children’s Active Learning Experiences (SCALES). An overview of the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale-Revised (ITERS-3), the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale-Revised (ECERS-3), and the Family Childcare Environment Rating Scale-Revised (FCCERS-3) will also be provided, emphasizing enhancing learning through exploration and creativity. The training will be held in-person at: SSBC., 632 Village STE 1, Shallotte NC, 28470.   $10–2 Credit Hours–Deadline: Deadline: October 23, 2026, at 5:00pm.

Please be aware of the SSBC policy regarding training credits. If you have signed up for a training session but cannot attend, it is essential to contact the SSBC training staff by noon on the day of the session to receive credit for future training.   Please note that we do not issue refunds; instead, we provide credits that can be used for upcoming training sessions.
