The N.C. 4th of July Festival is held annually in the City of Southport and in 2021 many events will be held in Oak Island. The festivities will kick off on July 1 with the traditional Oak Island Beach Day. The day will include games, music and food and end with a bang with fireworks. Other festival events will include: Reading of the Declaration of Independence, Flag Raising Ceremony, Flag Retirement Ceremony, Classic Car Show, Arts and Crafts Market, Music and Entertainment, Freedom Flotilla and more fireworks.
